The new method of interacting with applications in Motioncube.
Now the application can be run both on the interactive device (i.e. interactive floor, wall with IR pen control) and on two mobile devices which the players use to create and transfer code to the application on an interactive device. This allows players to observe code execution on the interactive floor, which is an extremely effective way to learn and explore programming.
It's a fascinating combination of visual and hands-on coding learning that opens up new perspectives in developing programming skills.

Resources for Teachers
This app collection is the first development of network games for an interactive floor on the market. It is also another part of the original methodology of teaching programming using interactive projection devices, developed by the LavaVision team. The applications included in the package are intended to introduce primary and secondary school students to the world of selected programming concepts in an interesting, attractive formula of online games. In addition, the challenges proposed in the applications from the "Kodi Challange Team" pack can support the development of visual perception, logical and algorithmic thinking, as well as the ability to work in a group.
In the game, we program visually using symbolic image blocks, which facilitates easier learning of new rules and concepts. We use terms such as:
In addition, the game formula is based on exercises that stimulate cognitive functions, in particular vision and memory.
The authors of the games tried to respond to the developmental needs of school-age children, focusing primarily on supporting motor and sensory skills during organized, safe games and activities.
The boards in the game have been grouped according to the purpose of our heroes' mission and game modes - COMPETITION and COOPERATION.
In each application, the boards are arranged in ascending order in terms of the level of difficulty of the tasks.
An undoubted difficulty that players will face is the ability to cooperate in creating algorithms in which the goal will be to reach the finish line simultaneously or help each other in completing tasks.
KODI CHALLANGE TEAM combines two ways of interacting with the application - using interactive pens and tablets, thus offering a new type of interaction on the device.
Display applications on the interactive wall or floor. In each game, two players compete, working on tablets.
After launching the board, players will also see it on their mobile devices. Players have picture blocks with instructions for heroes available under the board, from which they have to create a route for their characters during gameplay. The completed algorithms are displayed on the main display where you can start executing them.
Interactive applications are intended for the Motioncube based devices. To play, you need an interactive pen (IR pen) and two tablets with the Android operating system on which the free Kodi Challenge Team mobile application is installed.
*The game pack works from version 2.7.4 of Motioncube Player. During the installation of the games on your interactive device, a new type of interaction - TABLETS will be added.
In competition mode, teams work independently and do not reveal their algorithms until the entire route is completed. The winner is the team whose hero is the first to complete the route and reach the finish line. In some missions, the amount of resources collected, not the arrival time, determines victory in the game. So stay tuned. Players can set trapsfor the opposing team's hero. If none of the heroes reach the finish line during the game, players can correct their codes on tablets and re-upload them to the host device.
In co-op mode, teams communicate with each other to create codes on tablets that will help their heroes work together and complete the route together. Characters on the board help each other overcome obstacles along the route. Depending on the type of mission, the condition for success in the game may be for two or only one hero to reach the finish line, or for both characters to reach the finish line at the same time. In case of failure, players have the opportunity to correct their codes on tablets and re-upload them to the device.
