01. Guide - Course introduction

coding and algorithmics

The guide contains a wealth of practical information on how to work with the applications. The Code with Ava contains fifty-four applications that make up seven thematic sections: Graphic coding, Sequences, Mazes, Route planning, Letters and words, Numbers and operations, Coordinates. By accompanying Ava on her missions, users will develop spatial awareness and logical thinking, and create sequences of commands to control objects. In addition, they will organise numbers, perform basic mathematical calculations, read words, and recognise common species of plants and animals. The course includes applications of varying difficulty and a total of 1,633 boards in three grid sizes: 3x3, 6x6, and 10x10. The boards are operated with IR pens on an interactive floor. It is possible to divide the work area into two independent boards. The applications are designed for students aged 5-9.
