Pawns In Action can complement everyday educational activities for preschool and early school children, as well as corrective and compensatory and remedial classes. It can also be a great alternative to traditional board games, making the time spent by children of all ages in school common rooms, educational facilities, institutions organising children's leisure time and additional activities more attractive.
The applications are designed for the SmartFloor interactive floor.
The apps are controlled by the interactive pens.
Pawns in Action is designed to support children's activities that improve sensory integration and the ability to use developing cognitive processes, as well as to develop strategic and logical thinking skills and an understanding of rules. In addition, board games can be used to develop the ability to build relationships, interact, cooperate and organise work in small groups, including the organisation of work using technology.
The proposed games include games that encourage movement, test and enrich knowledge, encourage counting, and motivate children to devise game tactics.
The authors of the package have tried to respond to the developmental needs of preschool and early school age children, focusing primarily on supporting motor and sensory skills during organised, safe play and physical games.
Pawns In Action is a collection of four interactive board games. Two of them are classic versions of the well-known and popular board games Ludo and Mushroom Picking, which have taken on a new multimedia dimension when transferred to the interactive floor. The set also includes two original board games based on classic board game mechanics, supplemented with tasks to complete, which additionally encourage players to engage in various activities.
