Designed for interactive projection devices
A free, intuitive way to play.
Cooperation, conversation, observation.
Sight, movement, memory, social interaction.
The Magic Table package supports cognitive, motor, and social activation in older adults and those requiring therapy. The proposed interactive table-top activities stimulate the senses, memory, and concentration, while also strengthening a sense of empowerment. The goal is also to integrate participants and improve emotional well-being. Each action a person takes results in a change on the board.
The package includes 32 interactive apps ranging from simple movement games to relaxation exercises. Each app is designed in warm colors, with natural backgrounds and contrasting objects. Without unnecessary distractions such as excessive visual and auditory stimuli. The themes refer to nature, everyday matters, and tradition, making it easier to understand and evoking positive emotions. You can use your own tools, such as brushes, cloths, plates or fans, which not only add variety to the fun, but also help to practise hand motor skills.
The applications are displayed on the table surface by a projection device. Users sit at the table and move their hands on its surface to interact with the displayed elements, e.g. move them, colour them, catch them. The game can be played individually or in groups of up to 6 people. To run the application, you need a device designed for interactive projection, suspended from the ceiling or mounted on a stand, as well as a table sized to fit the displayed image.
The package was developed with seniors with limited mobility, cognitive impairments, and senile dementia in mind. It's ideal for nursing homes, therapy centers, and rehabilitation centers. The apps can support the therapy process while providing joy and positive experiences. The apps are incredibly enjoyable to use and have a universal, mature style, making them suitable for use in activity centers and senior clubs.
Interactive elements are displayed directly on the table, a place for meetings, games, or shared meals. The applications offer a space for play and observation, as well as a backdrop for conversation.
The applications feature many details related to comfortable use on the table and positive user experiences. The layout of the elements allows for activity from every side of the table. The dynamics of changes are selected individually in each application. The applications are based on a limited set of colours, which does not cause overstimulation or eye strain. The images are clearly visible, distinct and of appropriate size. The colours of the elements are matched to their role – warm colours are used for activation and stimulation, while cool colours are used for calming, concentration and relaxation. The applications deliberately do not have any sounds, which allows for simultaneous play and social conversation.
