Who is the course intended for?

A set of 422 interesting algorithmic challenges with varying levels of difficulty, designed for individual and team work for students from the first year of primary school onwards. It can also be successfully used in older year groups.

The applications are designed for computers, interactive whiteboards or interactive floors.

What are its objectives?

Introducing the secrets of algorithmics through play and fun! By programming the movements of characters on boards, performing the necessary actions and building increasingly complex structures, players gradually expand their skills in designing sequential and concurrent algorithms that control characters. Mastering these skills will allow them to develop more efficiently and fully in further stages of education.

What does it contain?

This is an advanced course in algorithmics divided into 3 parts:

  • I-basic programming structures,
  • II-complex algorithms,
  • III-concurrent algorithms.

It consist of a total of 422 levels arranged in 25 thematic applications.

What does it teach?

Topics covered in the course:

  • navigation,
  • iterative loops,
  • nested and conditional loops,
  • variables,
  • functions with/without parameters,
  • variable as value, state, action,
  • If-Then (-Else) conditional statements,
  • sequential and concurrent programming.
