Three tower block mats teach understanding and comparing fractions through visual division of a building into floors. Children mark with rope the number of floors corresponding to a given fraction, compare the marked portions of two buildings and divide the tower into equal floors according to a given denominator. The app includes three mat variants.
The app displays a static board as a large digital mat designed for projection onto the floor. The digital mat is used to organise educational activities in preschools and schools, including exercises and movement games using any props.
